Mons, Belgium

Mons, Belgium is located in the southern region near the French border. We visited friends who took us around the historic downtown area. At the 600 year old city hall, we stumbled upon a bridal party, ready to take off in their Rolls Royces.

Cochem Castle

Cochem Castle is about an hour's drive from our place, nestled on the Mosel River.

It was built about 1000 years ago

From the upper rooms and balconies one has a lovely view of the Mosel River.





The town of Cochem has a wonderful view of the castle on the hill.
