Denmark: Copenhagen Churches

This Maritime Church has been the church of sailors for centuries.

We attended the service on the Sunday when many couples had their kids baptized.

The Univerisity Church is an elegant, unique place. The theme is Greco-Roman. Jesus and his disciples wear togas.

Right off Strøget, the pedestrian shopping mall sits the historical church, Helligaandskirken. A violinist played outside the gate. It is known for great concerts.

Marble Church near the Royal Residence.

I'm sure this sign is a linguistic issue. We saw it at the City Hall. It probably means "Service Elevator" or something like that. But it made us chuckle. And theologically, isn't God three persons in one, not four?
